That is, quite possibly, the best defense I've heard for ol' laser-eyes.
#X FORCE MOVIE MOVIE#
The 3rd X-men movie can focus on Wolverine at the helm, instead of Cyclops, because let's face it, fuck Cyclops. Or, alternatively, to make it more modern, start the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, because he obviously still deeply misses Jean. This type of plot ties up quite a few things in one neat package: The introduction of Apocalypse, the intro to Cable, and Wolvie getting his claws back, to which he can now rejoin the X-Men. This can also show the origins of Apocalypse (the first mutant, born in ancient Egypt), which could eventually lead to him being the main antagonist in the X-force with one of the sub-plots being that he captures Logan, brainwashes him, and covers his claws with adamantium. So, bridging the gap between comic book lore and the movies, with X-men: Days of Future Past dealing heavily with time travel, this could open up the door to a number of characters, one being Cable who led the X-force for some time. Eventually he regained his adamantium coating, but only after Apocalypse injected him with it and made him become one of his Horsemen.

This happened in the comics as well, but he lost all his adamantium, not just his claws. I put the spoiler tag in the title because I'm going to talk about the new Wolverine movie.Īt the end of The Wolverine, he loses his adamantium claws, which regresses him back down to just bone claws.
